Ok, so I can't even begin to explain how the last six weeks of my life have been turned upside-down with all kinds of events. Of course nothing like that can happen without others voicing their opinions and making judgments based on what information they receive, whether it be a full account or partial bits of info that aren't completely verified. Ahh yes, thus begins the fun of gossip, criticism, and making judgments of another persons situation. We've all been guilty of that at one time or another, myself included. Seeing something from the outside and thinking how much better or differently you would have handled things. It's so easy to give advice, and at times come down on another person for their frustrations and to point out ALL the things they're doing wrong in a situation. My favorite part is being evaluated or analyzed from a psychological level as to why I might be reacting a certain way, or being drilled as to what my own conclusions are. Have you ever been so emotionally and mentally drained from dealing with something that you finally lose it? Have you ever done your best to inform and gain support from those you feel need to be aware of the situation, only to be brushed off and not taken seriously? How much could you take before you had a breakdown with the burden of a relatively serious situation. While the ideal approach would be to respond and act as an "ADULT" as one put it, could it be possible that you yourself were at the end of your rope? In a moment of complete exhaustion with a callused response, am I not allowed to break? Do I recognize my own moment of weakness? ABSOLUTELY! Am I aware and acknowledge the fact that my attitude may be curt for the moment? Of course. Don't we all have things that take time to sort out. Haven't we all had trouble dealing with our emotions and the hurt that comes our way? How would it be if all you were looking for was a little validation for all the crap you've been dealing with, only to be given a breakdown of what you're feeling is all wrong? Thanks for the vote of confidence people. The criticism really gave me a boost! This should be a really good lesson for everyone to learn from. Let's review some pointers shall we?

Evaluation
1) Don't be too quick to judge another's frustration or situation, especially if you are not directly involved
2) Lend a listening, supportive ear. Not a 'you're doing it all wrong' ear.
3) If you are going to give advice, be sure you don't shove it down their throats with force.
4) If you choose to discuss current events in you life with someone, make sure it's the right person.
So on that note, I'm going to continue to work through my feelings (which are all wrong) and limit my feelings to those who better understand the WHOLE picture of the current situation.
